I hate writing “About Me” pages because I always feel like I’m eulogising myself. What a morbid thought. Plus, it always makes me ask myself one of the most fundamental existentialist questions: Who am I?
I can always cover the basics: earthling, daughter, sister, etc. But how do I answer that question properly? Who am I? And as cliched as it may sound, I’m hearing The Who singing in the background, asking me who I am! If you don’t know which song I’m talking about, think CSI Las Vegas theme tune. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, google it!
Writing helps me explore my thoughts and understand myself better. While I know who I am fundamentally, it’s always good to keep abreast of all the changes. We humans, as a species, are highly adaptable, and sometimes we aren’t able to keep track of the evolution. This is my way of understanding mine.
Now after that bizarre paragraph, you may notice that I haven’t answered my question. But I can answer it. To quote Mikee Cojuangco in her Swatch commercial:
I AM ME!
