30 Dec

This was taken last year, when we had snow come early.  This year, we’re quite fortunate that the white, fluffy stuff has stayed away.  While it wasn’t a white Christmas, I didn’t mind so much.  After all, Christmas is still Christmas!

Can’t always guarantee snow in the UK can you? But when it comes, it causes mayhem!!! I’m in Canada, where snow is guaranteed.
Your photo is amazing. I love the way that the streetlights are glowing in the cold air and how the colour is being reflected off the snow. Sometimes, the point and shoot photos surprise us. Thanks.

I was amazed at how it captured the cold blueness of the sky. And yes I agree, sometimes these little point and shoot cameras do take surprisingly lovely photos! 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by!

i agree with you about the snow. ‘After all, Christmas is still Christmas’.
    so true!
if it snows for christmas, then i enjoy it and all its wonders.
if it does not snow for christmas, then i enjoy that too!

they say winter is not really the nicest time of the year – what with the wetness and coldness it brings. and i probably would share the sentiment if i had to stay in a country where it snowed all the time. but right now, not being able to experience the white christmas just yet, I think it’s a wonderful time of the year! great photo! there’s something so dramatically beautiful about this. 🙂

Despite everything everyone says about winter, there will always be that feeling of wonder when you first see the snow coming down. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been through winters for as along as you can remember or it’s your first winter experience. Then after that you can complain about the yucky slush! Haha! 🙂
